If Santander weren't such an incompetent bank taking days to do basic transfers, Id be buying more shares around now.
Make that a lesson for future - have as little to do with Santander as possible
We have a First Home Saver with them, but I only opened that as it was offering 5% and can only be operated from our local branch, where the friendly local staff are as bemused by Santander's general cackness as the customers are0 -

Supermarkets are looking cheap. Sainsburys especially although they also strike me as a piece of poo.

As an investment.
I found it quite pleasant to shop in on my brief return to the UK. I suspect it is going to be squeezed between the twin rocks of Tesco and Waitrose.
Shame you can't buy shares in Waitrose really.0 -

Ah well, maybe the media will find something else to focus their hyperbole on now the weekend is here.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
