I have a Hitachi HDR165 & want to connect it to a 17" Monitor.
I need something like this but it needs a 3.5mm lead to go into the monitor.
Anybody know where I can get?

What I think you are asking is about the sound connection, however the sound is available on the scart connection. The way is if your pvr has a headphone output using 3.5mm plug. You would then need a 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo lead. (Maplin), the problem may be that the sound level may not be high enough.
You could get a scart to scart adapter that gives sound connections on it, the lead in this case would be 2 x phono plugs to 3.5mm stereo jack. The same consideration applies to the sound levels.
