Am I sad to get excited that we have Home Bargains coming to Bristol soon?

Looks like the Bishopsworth one has now opened, Brislington store opening this month sometime. Think I might take a trip over there later to have a look.

In Retford, unlike Christmas this time, there's a good selection of Lindt chocs, including the big bunnies.

Went into Loughborough store today and brought the Xbox Tony Hawk board and game for £17.99 RRP £49.99 for my son. Although it did take the shop assistants ten minutes to find the boards as the boxes are empty on the shelves!

Dettol No Touch Hand Wash Refill £1.49. Not sure if these are Green Tea & Ginger or Tea Tree fragrance. About £3.05 normally.

This is good as I've just got the freebie Dettol No Touch handwash dispenser discussed on this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3819887 !

There is no way I was going to pay over £3 for a refill cartridge!

berol craft scissors for 50p, exactly the same as these. each colour is a different design blade. Barry (south wales) had pinking (yellow) and at least two different scalloped/wavy designs.

old el paso sauce sachets for fajitas and enchiladas - 69p IIRC, dated until 09/2012

Yes, I didn't get the dispenser from there, but I did spot it was only £5. I wasn't talking about using a voucher there, I was talking about buying a refill from there (now that I've got the dispenser) as it's much cheaper.

People on here have had problems using vouchers in Home Bargains before and have phoned Head Office who told them they do accept vouchers. So, if you want to push it, you'd be in the right. I didn't think it was worth the aggravation though!

Correct, I had problems with a voucher in my local store, I emailed Head Office who told me they should have accepted it. This was some time ago though and things may have changed again now.
