  • I love HB but not been in for ages. Got some bits for DS birthday and Xmas, Lego minifigure sticker book which has loads of stickers in it, its a good size book for only 1.99 and Zhu zhu hamster armour which he was asking for the other week for his birthday, for 99p per pack so I was really chuffed I got something I know he wants. I was in the Coatbridge one. I must go more often in the run up to Xmas!!!
  • Hi. First post on here but love HB! Yesterday found some Dorling Kindersley Lego sticker books. Normally £7.99, but were on sale for £1.99. They have tons of stickers in and bought a few for emergency pressies.

But they didn't have my favourite Thorntons misshapes in :(

No, but will if I'm in the area :) Have been to the one in the city centre but never seems to be as good as the Hessle Road shop!

Are these actually labelled as Thorntons or not? What does the pack look like/say? Thanks :)

  • Just back from the Irving store, loads of the offers previously mentioned were available. No Lego Sticker Books though, which were what I went in for.

Managed to pick up Hello Kitty Door Hangers for 19p each. Jokey Cook Books for 39p each, hardback A5 size, 'great stocking fillers' (can't believe I just typed that, I am the biggest ba humbug going).
The original Colgate, produced for the Jubilee were 2 for £1.00, only just used the stash I had bought in Sainsbury's in July.

Not exactly a big spend, but happy with what I got.
