I see that First Direct are showing off a potential new website at their First Direct Labs website. Sadly they have confirmed that there will be no improvements to their Internet Banking :-( .

Have to agree with Mikhail, the FD internet banking is efficient enough already.
Adding more bells and whistles would only be more for the hackers to go at, and more for users to navigate around.0 -
I guess it would be nice to have features such as naming accounts, being able to delete old payments and see more statement information. I have accounts with other banks and in comparison FD service is very outdated and I’m surprised that they are trailing behind everyone else.0

When i was with FD many moons ago, they didn't allow you to delete old payment recipients on their internet banking. So it looks like 10 years later they still haven't fixed this. What happened to their philosophy of listening to their customers?0 -
I'd also like to delete redundant payments, the DO NOT USE sign you can have it changed to is useful but there's still a long list. I'd also like to have available balance showing on the home screen.
I quite like HSBC's online banking, as a subsidiary I can't see why they can't share the same system.

Agreed. If there's anything you can't do online, it's always possible to access FD 24/7 on the telephone usiing the international number, the staff are exceptionally helpful.
If you want a seriously outdated banking system, choose a Post Office account!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
