Can't find my property on the house price websites

I have recently moved house as a tenant and was looking at the council tax rebanding advice on this site. The recommended sites for looking up house sale prices (Nethouseprices, Houseprices and RightMove) don't have anything for my property. It's only a few years old and the other flats in the building all have sale records on those websites from around 2004 but mine is not to be found. Anyone else had this or know why?

I use it a lot for work and find that a vast number of sales are never shown.
I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.

mine from last aug still not shown anywhere as sold..
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

Yes, I tried doing the same thing myself for my 90s built flat in an attempt to get the council tax downgraded from B to A. No sale details were available for mine.

Methinks that as my landlord is a Housing Association who bought a bulkload of the flats in mine and the neighbouring blocks from new, the details of these simply aren't published for some unfathomable reason.

If it was a sole landlord then I think the property sale details would have been available.

I believe sale details for auction sales and repossessions are never published. There are also others which just don't get published for some unknown reasons - being nosy I tried to find out how much a friend paid for a shoe box in London but none of her block appear on the listings, despite it being a) built in 2004 and b) bought by my friend in 2007 (i.e that fact it doesn't appear can't be down to the new-build status).
