:j Finally managed to get some oranges today, a lovely job for sunday me thinks. Just for comparison purposes:rolleyes: how much have folks paid? mine were 79p per pound but according to my notes they were 54p per pound this time last year.

I use my pressure cooker to soften the orange rind a lot quicker than boiling on the stove.....then just add the sugar and bring back to a rolling boil to a set.......
OH likes thick peel I have an implement that is used to take the skin off oranges, it takes the skin off in thick strips, lovely.........Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0
