Unfortunately, AA doesn't have a mobility element so, if elderly people apply on the basis that they can't get out and about, they won't get it. This happened to my mother, who was crippled with arthritis.

Obviously, if you qualify for AA on the grounds of care needs, you can choose to spend the money how you like.

telephone number 0845 6060265, just tell them that you are calling to ask for a visit to made to do a benefit check you need to give them one of your parents national insurance number so the referral can be made.
