2 Different MBNA Cards?

I once asked an MBNA rep about this and she told me some people have 5 or 6 MBNA cards!!!!

Depends on your existing credit limit. MBNA seem to have a maximum exposure for each customer so if you are at or around that, then a second application, even under a different 'badge', will be rejected, as happened to me.

In that case, why not lower you credit limit on your existing MBNA cards before applying for new ones?

My MBNA card was maxed out other than for 4 x £5 min payments!!

Will wait until my 12m deal runs out, pay off in full & try for Virgin again!
