My sound on my p.c has appeared to have stopped working.
I have done all the obvious things such, as seeing if its plugged in correctly, volume control etc. But still no joy.
I have however had a message one time telling me to install - Multimedia Audio Controller.
can anyone help??

It sounds to me as if your sound card driver is kaput or missing. If you have a sound board, re install the drivers that came with it (or go to the manufacturers site and get the latest drivers). If you have on-board sound, reinstall the motherboard drivers if you have them or obtain the sound driver from the net; just search for driver for your mother board.
