Hi, i want to organize a one week trip to siem reap and angkor wat in cambodia. can anyone reccomend any websites that do these sort of packages, including day trips etc, i have been on the virgin site but you cant book online at the moment.
I will be travelling with my best friend who has never been abroad at all so the organization is being left to me and i don't really know where to start.
Thanks

Siem Reap and the temples are great, went two years ago! Went to Singapore, Redang (Malaysia) and Siem Reap for a 3 week break, flew from SIN to Cambodia, booked hotel separately and organised various day trips to the temples etc once there, easily done!Save £12K in 2013 £4000/90000

If you are just looking for individual short tours then I would just wait until you get there and book direct. You typically get much better prices when you are able to negotiate with cash in your hand. The tours which advertise online typically have huge mark ups.
However, if you want someone to organise everything from flight, hotels, transfers etc then maybe it would be better to go for a fully arranged tour - though you would lose a lot of flexibility to do exactly what your want.
Without recommending any, take a look at

Cambodia is quite a first step for someone who has never been abroad!0 -
There are official guides at Angkor Wat, they give you a tour and you just give them a donation at the end, they are very good. Local tuk tuk drivers are can take you from your hotel to the temples and they can stay with you most of the day.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
