Car Insurance Renewal
I didn't realise that Aviva Car Insurance renewed automatically and on the renewal date, I purchased cover from Hastings Direct online. 2 weeks later I realised that I was paying twice, phoned to cancel my Aviva policy and was told I would have to pay £158 to cancel (2 moths cover and a cancellation fee). Can anyone help me as to whether I can claim this money back in anyway, or is it my fault for not being aware that my original policy renewed automatically?
