Hi everyone
I had a loan taken out in 2003 and cleared around 2006 but cannot find the paperwork for it so I do not know the account number. Can I still use the SAR template to request all information i.e. account number and copy of agreement?
Also does anyone know the address that I would send this information to?
Thanks

Hi there
A suggestion.
I assume you would have been paying for the loan repayments from your bank account?
Are you still with the same bank?
If so if you call in to your local branch, they will check the details for you, the loan account number is generally shown next to the loan repayments, or if you bank online, this should allow you to go back to about 2002.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Thanks for that di3004 - I will contact my bank about it first but the problem is that HSBC paid off the AA loan as part of my mortgage account...so my best bet would be to contact HSBC about this first I guess?0

Hi
I had the same problem with an AA loan for a similar period. Mine turned out to be with Bank of Scotland as I have since received a letter from them after contacting the AA first. I managed to find my account number from old bank statements (it should be printed against the 'AA LOAN' direct debit. I then went to the AA website, selected 'loans' and there is an option for PPI complaints. I followed this and they found my details, I am just waiting the 16 weeks to pass now.
Hope this helps.According to ABBA apparently it's a rich mans' world . . .:p0
