In 2005 he predicted that the iPod would be "dead, finished, gone, kaput" by the following Christmas.

I remember being in a meeting with him where he said that the solution to the stupid 3" floppy disks on the Amstrad CPC machines being so expensive to duplicate was for software companies to put multiple games and/or packages on each disk.

Yes, we could have done that, if we wanted to churn out 5h1t software!
I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.

Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.

Donald Trump got quite lucky with his fortunes too, he was another property investor, and he almost got wiped out in the late 80s property crash because he took out huge debts to finance it.

While Al...sorry Lord Sugars business isn't anything great today, I'd take £800m anyday. And I agree with what he's saying, these financial managers often have vested interests. Just looking at the things they invest in, I would bet 90% of financial bonds are held by the very same financial institutions on behalf of their clients, to keep the values up and everything rosy.
Faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Some have definitely, but not all. And one thing for sure is most don't have his £800m fortune! Although some do, probably more so in the US than UK tho.

Guy DeBlonay got a nice little [STRIKE]pad [/STRIKE] castle ;)

I wonder how much money Alan Sugar has made from these "people".
