Metarl - links to possible scam sites?

As some of you may or may not know I've been visiting survey sites recently that offer free Linden dollars (thats virtual money for the online game Second Life - for those not in the know). The sites were suggested by MetaRL.com (please note I think metaRL only gives the links, I don't think it hosts them). I'm getting slightly concerned because of the number of websites claiming that survey sites offering 100 Linden dollars or more a survey are probably scam sites.
So far all the surveys I have filled in have asked for some pretty personal questions (Name, address, DOB, phone number) which aren't normally associated with legit survey sites (MySurvey etc). But none have asked for my bank or credit card details, or any passwords of any kind. They often want you to select an offer from a list in order to continue etc.
Since I've filled in a ton of them I guess its a bit late to be worried now, but if anyone has any thoughts on them they'd be greatly appreciated

They will get money from the affiliate site you sign up with to get your 'offer' and they will get money from selling your personal details and email address to spammers. You may not receive anything.
All-in-all, not something that people should do. If it looks too good to be true, it normally is.0 -
That sounds good to me. Spam I can deal with (I used my alternate email address), identity theft etc I can't. Long as they're not going to steal my overdraft everything's peachy
Either way I've taken my referral off of the referrals board just incase. Don't want to get other people spammed0
