Jacamo messing up my account

I've just logged into my online banking to find Jacamo have overnight taken money for a purchase that I made on 16th July and had delivered on 17th. I used my payment card at the time and that amount of money seemed to leave the account yet I can't find the transaction on my banking. On my Jacamo account summary it says I ordered the stuff on 29th July - not true but then theres a link to track the parcel saying it was delivered on 17th. How can order be placed after I had it delivered? (that is what has happened accroding to Jacamo)
I returned all but one item which they will have probably just received back, I think they may NOT have charged me orginally and then decided to when they saw the return? I am so annoyed that £70 odd pounds has only just left my account for a purchase made 2 weeks ago, I thought it had been paid for and therefore it has effectively left me short on what miney I thoiguht we had.
Are they allowed to do this after 2 week?
Thanks
Lisa

Yes, they can do this. Two weeks is quite a short time to be honest.
They will probably take a couple of weeks to refund you as well - that is also allowed.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
I buy alot online and have never received the goods before payment has been taken. I am not happy :-(0

Jacamo do a credit search to see if you are credit worthy to send goods before payment. There is a lot of controversy over their policy on this but, it is hidden in their small print. There is a way to stop them doing the search but that to is complicated.0
