    Hi Amara

Can you include me again, please?

I'd like £500 off my Halifax card above the normal payments -that's not going to be enough to clear it but will be a big help against the old interest

I'm on holiday when we start again on 15th but will pick up with you all when I get back on 20th. Off to subscribe so I can find you all :rotfl:

    Good luck everyone!!! :)

  • Thanks for setting this up Amara. If you can put me down for £2,000 towards cc1 that would be great.

    Thanks

    Hi Amara

Thank you for running this challenge again.

Could I be put down for £1750 please. This is to clear money lent by Mum and sister so I can finally concentrate on the other debts. I think this challenge might help me break the cycle of never ending debt and help me focus on surveys, ebay, car boots etc.

I also find the people who do this challenge so inspiring too.

Being able to clear these debts will put me in a better position for christmas too

    Thanks
    LBM no. 2 £20k

    Hi Please may I join?

I would like to clear my Marshall Ward account of £500 - It keeps getting shoved to the bottom of the list because it's small but the interest is almost double any other debt that I have.

    Any tips anyone?

You could always come and join us on the Payment A Day thread - its a great way to hit debts where it hurts :)

Right I have spent some time today setting myself up for this challenge.
I have allocated one of my e-savings accounts to the challenge. I will be saving up my extra earnings in this then transferring it in one bulk at the end of each month. I know this means I pay a little more interest on the OD but it just gets swallowed up otherwise.

I think I will have a bit less time over the coming weeks so thought I would get a head-start today. I have completed all available surveys on all the sites I am registered on.

I have transferred some survey and ebay money from another account to me new one - £218.75 so that's what I'm starting with. I have a few bits on ebay just now but nothing is selling at the moment so we shall see. I have also transferred £43 from my Paypal account to b/a so will use that too (have left a little in there to cover fees which are due).

I'm sure not every day will be this productive so tonight I am going to draw myself a little visual thing so I can colour blocks in for each £25 (1%) that I achieve. This should keep me motivated!!

I think I'd like to give this a go. The first thing I want to clear is my overdraft, so please put me down for £465. It's a bit ambitious but need to start somewhere.

Also, could someone direct me to the 'Payment A Day thread' mentioned above. It sounds interesting as well. I searched on forums but couldn't find it.

    Thanks.

Short term goal - pay off Virgin CC by end of Jan 2013:eek:

    Hi Amara

Can you put me down for £1200 please - I have have 4 smaller debts that I have lumped together so I get them all paid off.

I have never managed to make it to the end of this challenge as life keeps getting in the way but I am determined to do it this time!
