    Thanks for that advice, I am sure that in nov/Dec the prices will be better. I will be going to BCA sites anywhere in the south, up to Birmingham.

    For info I have around 8k to play with.

    What is it your wanting the van for? is it for work or is it to convert to a camper/dayvan?

    VW transporters are known for holding their money, i have a T4 and have owned it for exactly 5 years next month, i paid £4600 for a 2002 plate and now 5 years on the same spec of van is still going for around £3500 - £4000.

    How old a van are you looking for? i think the t5 started around 2004 so thats going on 7 years old now, i currently have the new t5 (diff headlight etc)for work and its making me want to change my own van lol, so much comfier and quiet.
