any advice on BT fraud?

hi there, havent posted on here and am looking for some advice.

I had an overdue bill for £217 to Bt which i paid today and the account is clear.
When i logged in after paying it, there is now a part on here that says there was an order placed which is being processed with todays date.
It has my home phone number but as contact details it has a mobile number i dont recognise and a man's email address.

I have tried to call BT to report this but theyre closed for tonight.
I am worried about this, I dont know what it is.
I tried to view the contact details but it wouldnt let me because it says the order is being processed within the next 24 hours

How long overdue-was the line already restricted or disconnected for non-payment?

They've somehow muddled your record with someone else's by the sound of it.
Suggest you switch to whole bill direct debit-that will save you money and means you can't overlook it.

There are lots of Tom's on BT's customer database, I think you're being rather paranoid.
But if you're not happy about it, make a complaint to BT.
