Internet Price Qu.

I'm just stalking for a holiday but i was curious to know do companies such as first choice/ tc etc up their prices on holidays that have received 'hits'. Similiar to how amazon works i think? So an item might be £1 on amazon but if it gets hit 100 times in quick succession often the price goes up. Does that make sense? I was just wondering if the same thing happened with holidays and if i should stop stalking for a little bit as the price seems to change on a daily basis at the moment.

TIA :)

I was told by our local travel agent that this is the case, so the more we keep looking we are pushing the price up
