Recycled Plastic Decking Boards

I am a wheelchair user and have a raised area of timber decking leading to an access ramp at the back of my house which has been in place for about 12 years.
The boards are starting to rot now despite regular maintenance but as I am a wheelchair user the wear and tear is greater than normal so I guess it's reached the end of it's useful life.
I have been looking at recycled solid plastic boards as an alternative which, although more costly to install, are supposed to be maintenance free and will last 40 to 50 years (according to the blurb).
Just wondering if anyone has any experience of these boards and what recommendations you might have for me. Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks.

Lots of park benches are made of a similar material and they seem to survive ok. I don't have personal experience of the planks that you mention. Just what I see on the promenade, in the park, and at the bowling green.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
I've fitted loads of different types of plastic decking over the years and they do NOT last as long as they do.
There is only 1 type i'd recommend and that's Twinson decking as it's half wood, half plastic but doesn't rot and it's not slippy when wet unlike normal recycled decking.
[EDIT] Found some on ebay
