First time I've even heard of this plant.

All weeds are a nuisance. Unless this stuff kills small children why all the concern?

If it's found on a property most lenders will deem the property unmortgageable. There was someone on here last week, whose mortgage app was turned down due to JK at the property.

all this hype about knotweed is completely out of proportion, its just another excuse for lenders to hike up their rates. tonns of houses have knotweed, especially in lndon.

my garden was overgrown with knotweed when i bought it. once i undestood whst it was, i bought glyophophste from wilkinson, injected the thick stalks with it using a syringe from pounland printer ink refill kit, sprayed the leleaves. the nextt year i had about 4 or 5 shoots come up, this year i have seen two shoots so in one or two years i expect it all to be gone

yes it is a weed but its easy to tame it yourself, you dont need to hire a specialist
