Grrr! BT automated "customer services"

Grrr! I have just been half an hour on the phone to BT
( I decided not to opt for ring-back as I was in a 5-10minute queue and the ring-back although saying it would keep my place in the queue said it would be within an hour(!) )
FINALLY managed to talk to a human - he said I needed to reduce my direct debit amount and he would put me in the dd queue
I sat in THAT queue and then was given only option 1 - to INCREASE my dd. When I didn't opt for 1 it repeated it twice then told me to hang up if my query was unresolved a re-ring the original numer I had rung over 30minutes ago
Have BT actually heard of the term "customer service" ? :mad:

how annoying! similar things have happened to me before, I don't know why you can't just be put through to a human being in the first place!0

Resolving a BB problem with BT ages ago-
My record was being transferred 16 times in one call to resolve a simple issue- router they'd sent was faulty.....
They didn't charge for the call after I made a complaint.0 -
If you are registered on BT.com go for their live web chat - I always find the agents helpful.0
