    It might be worth looking in the yellow pages to see if there are any local cash and carrys - I use one that is open to the public, they are down a back street in an industrial area and sell mainly to small local businesses. I get good deals on chicken and bacon, and catering sized boxes of stuff like burgers for BBQs:D

    If there are any in the YP just ring them up and ask if they sell to the general public.
