My sister lives out in Texas and stuff she's used to at home is sold there at exorbitant prices due to the cost of importing it. It's actually usually cheaper to get it delivered from eBay.

She also had to ask Mum to bring out British baby formula because American stuff is full of low-sucrose corn syrup etc etc etc which she doesn't want to feed to her child. (I know it's OK for American babies but she knows an alternative is available.) A whole shipment went out about a month ago.

To be honest, unless it is illegal, against eBay's rules, or dangerous I wouldn't blame anyone for buying/selling anything on eBay. There's no accounting for taste.

@FMN - I love oreos. They used to sell coffee in Coffee Republic with mini oreos in it. Actually tasted quite nice...but then CR Reading closed down :(.
