I found screenselect absymal - terrible customer service, and they kept taking money out of my account for 7 months after cancelling the subscription...

Never had cause to say a bad word against LoveFilm - they even invited me to join their pre-view panel, which means you get to see pre-release films for free in return for filling in a questionnaire. Last one I saw was Sugarhouse Lane - it was really, good, so keep an eye out for it when it hits the silver screen....

i just cancelled my account after 6 months, there customer services isnt very good but what do you expect from a cheap service.

If you cancel late at night, i think after 10pm, maybe 11pm you can cancel entirely online.

also remember to leave enough time to get your dvds back to them to avoid a further months charge.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Lovefilm offering me a refund for unfair charges plus a month's free rental - so they did manage to do something right eventually (details in my other post above).

I cancelled love film and had confirmation on 12th december but still got billed on 18th december and when I went back into the account it showed I'm still in line to get billed on 18th january this month - steer well away from this poor company.

anyone have an actual telephone number for them, I have faxed/written but still no reply - well other than automated replies, they keep trying to take money from my credit card (which has run out - I paid a year up front), they can't as the card does not exist with the number they have as it has run out, I have faxed them twice, asked them to call me, it all started with them claiming they hadn't got a disc - funny two in one envelope and they have one of them, I sent off the required form - which they said they haven't got, I then sent them a fax, then another, still no response and on looking on my account today I see the amount has gone up from £20 to £40 and no way of knowing what is going on....

Can anyone help with a number please.....
