Robbie Williams CD Not Working in Stereo

Hi guys
I bought my mum the RW Rudebox CD/DVD album for Xmas.
Funny thing is that the CD will not work in her stereo system but works in a portable one, on the PC and in the car.
Anyone give me some advice what the cause of this could be?

ps - it's not the DVD, just the CD.

Not sure what the problem is, but I got the Robbie CD for Xmas and mine plays alright on my stereo. Have you tried giving the CD a clean, not sure what else to suggest.0
