Yesterday,I received a letter from the benefit department that im not more entitled for housing and council tax benefit, because I didnt tell them,im not more on jsa and so i have nil income.
Im living with my parents,so im liable 50% of my rent and council tax, because my claim is separate...
The letter says I need to write a statement i have nil income and details of how i am meeting my day to day living needs and statements for all accounts for the last two month period...
Can someone tell me i am still entitled for housing benefit& council tax, please???

If you unemployed and have no income why aren't you claiming JSA? Presumably you were previously and that would have been the condition you were getting HB/CTB. By not doing so anymore the Local Authority will suspend your claim as you don't match the condition of entitlement (see the bit in bold).
If you are able to claim for JSA then I'd suggest you contact the new claims line (0800 055 66 88) or do it online through the Direct.gov.uk website. If you do a JSA Income Based claim then any rent/council tax you are eligible to pay will be paid for by HB/CTB.
If you can't or won't claim JSA then your only solution is to do as they ask and send in the information requested. You should do that anyway even if you put in a JSA claim as any entitlement to HB/CTB will be only start from the day you make your JSA claim and won't necessarily be backdated leaving you to foot the bill on any arrears due.0 -
If you are living with your parents, it is unlikely you will get housing benefit. You need to claim JSA and use that towards rent/living costs.“How people treat you becomes their karma; how you react becomes yours.”0

You aren't entitled to anything. You are only entitled to it if your parents were charging you rent for your room under a formal agreement and even then you'd have a battle on. And you'd not get council tax benefit as you wouldn't be getting a council tax bill.
The only thing you are entitled to is JSA.0 -
Nope, you're not.Per Mare Per Terram0

OP can you confirm why you got HB to start with. You say you are living with your parents, is this a rented property and whose name is the lease in? do you have your own leases? Why do you no longer receive JSA? how are you paying bills with nil income?0

if you are a joint tenant with your parents also named as tenants, you can claim HB or LHA for your % of the rent. it's only if you are actually renting from your parents that you would not be eligible at all.
the council need to know what your income is, so tell them! they will probably want to know more if you could claim JSA but are not doing so you will need to explain that.I work in Housing Benefits however my comments are my own understanding of the law / procedures and you should also check with your local authority.0
