thats very bad as it means this car has been running around with unknown keepers since it was stamped
i hope you have a timed receipt for when you took custody of it
its an old trick to do this and lose it in the system
you need to go to dvla local as said
personally i would check this car out most carefully if i was you0 -
Thank you ,the cars a good one as had it for 6 months ,it was a masterlease car ,sold to trader and then sold on to son,it looks like it was a total mix up by all ,we do have times receipts etc and garage is not too far away ..................looks like they filled in supplement to tax car for son using their name but then didn't send off for new registration and just gave son old one with supplement filled out ...............we have just found the new keeper bit (front page of v5) that garage should of sent off to register themselves (does that make sense)Fear God and dread nought :cool:0

This is how we tax our own personal cars at work, as it doesnt add another keeper on to the document.
Then after say, 12/18 months when we diecide to sell it on, we just fill out the V5 in the buyers name.0 -
