where to go in Jan

where can i take a warmish holiday in January ? was looking at lanzarote but what part ??? and is it warm ? just carnt decide , can anyone recommend anywhere to me please

Try Playa Blanca - nicest part of the island and most southern.
In January it won't be much hotter than around 75 degrees tho' (it'll be much colder in the UK)

We tried Tenerife a few times in January and got let down by the weather. We then did a few November trips instead of January, and weather was much better. Last winter though we switched back to January, and tried Egypt. Much warmer than the Canaries. Will probably go back.

Fuertaventura wasn't too good last January, but locals said the amount of rain was unusual (dunno how true, first time I'd been in Jan) - improved into February though.

We had a week in Hurghada, Egypt, at the end of January this year. It was pleasantly warm during the day although there was a cool breeze. In the evening it was too cold to sit outside in my opinion but I am a wimp.

Funnily enough I have just returned from the same hotel and it was over 40 degrees C in the sun! It was a bit too WARM to sit outside at night!
