Freezer Hotpoint FZA51

My freezer is playing up, it has defrosted itself, initially I thought the door had been left open, so I switched it off overnight and powered it back up the following morning. There were some ice packs in there that seemed to still be frozen so I thought it was alright. However, I decided to clean the drawers out and put some ice to freeze to test it out, but it didnt work. The fast freeze light was on. I have now switched it off, but wondered if anyone could advise what I should do, and if its repairable what could the likely cost be?
