Should someone tell them it's obvious...

  • This seller and his/her shill bidding friend must be the most obvious.
I reported it to Ebay and diddly squat.
I opened a thread on an Ebay discussion board and the thread was pulled.
Ebay do nothing about it and their vaunted 'Trust and Safety' do nothing.

If they don't pull the listings & or ban them, they should at least refuse to allow them to cancel the transaction, or do a 2nd chance offer after a few hefty FVF's to pay for nothing, maybe they would think twice about it.

Standard crap from ebay, a bidder often buys more than 1 item from a seller, doesn't mean they're doing anything wrong.
I see they've placed another bid on the listing that the seller cancelled last night.

There's the other classic scenario, where the shill bid ID wins, so within hours, the original seller relists the item ... and hey presto! The same shill bid ID bids away again, on the same item that they apparently just won! :rotfl:

Even eBay has difficulty explaining why the same bidder keeps bidding on, winning and then bidding all over again, on exactly the same items! :D

That's what has happened with this one & he's set to win again. They ignored that part of my report.
  • Well, I see that the auction has ended and the shill bidder has yet again managed to cause the winning bidder to pay more than they should have done, but at least ebay have made a little bit extra out of it!
