dla & work

hi ,been of work for 4 years due to long term illness but i want to know look at getting back into work.i have had a car through my disability which i signed a 3 year agreement.i no that i will still get a working disability payment when i go back to work but what happens about my car

    Do you still have mobility problems that would justify continuing receipt of DLA?

    ye still have problems,was on morphine for 2 years and was i unemployable whilst on such strong medication.im slowly coming off that now as i want to go back to work but will only be on a part time basis to start with too see how i cope

    There's no problem receiving DLA when working as it's not an out of work benefit. However, if you're returning to work because your health is improving, you may not still fit the criteria for DLA.
