Im not sure if I am a graduate or not. I started the original challenge in jan 2010 and now my stash is much less. I always think now before I buy toiletries and last year I only faltered twice. This year I have been good so far.

Thanks very much for starting the new thread Mingle, much appreciated! Had a couple of INs today, all for the wee getaway next week to the OH's parents holiday home. Charles Worthington Moisture Seal Shampoo and Conditioner and St Ives Facial Scrub (all miniatures). Hope everyone is well! Xx

    I'm in for August!!

Wow! we're only 38 mins into August and already 2 pages!! lol

No sooner am I here and I need to leave again =[ Back off to uni this week to do the summer school bits again, this time for 18 year olds... Aparently this one is all about stopping them having s*x **eye roll**

Hugs to everyone that needs them
    Welcome to all new challengee's

Xoxo, I LOVED those nails!! Immediately went and did my own set in red and white (my footie teams home colours), unfortunately the match they played in was away colours (blue and white) so I got some stick for having the opposition teams colours on my nails lol
Took me a while to get used to it, you have to work fast dont you!!
    Unfortunately...
I realised that I dont have many light coloured NVs to mix with.... And my black had gone gloopy....

Soooo, having gone into Boots to get NV remover, I may have spent £7 on 3 NVs today (black, dark purple and light blue/purple) **guilt guilt guilt** and to make matters worse... Forgot the NV remover so still dont have any!!

However! I've got 2 events on next weekend and bought a nice dress for them both, which is a browny/blacky print dress. I want to do this marbling to go with it, but I dont have any brown NV, so instead of buying a new one, I asked around to borrow one for the day =] I'm quite impressed with mself for resisting the urge to buy *yet another!* unnecessary NV...

    Ahhh well....

    xxx

    Back in again!

Still doing well, though I didn't really NEED the body butters I just bought. But they were on sale in M&S! I confessed to those over on the July thread, August is a clean slate.

I'm sure your nails looked fab!

Maybe you could use a nail polish thinner? I've got a Mavala one, and it invigorated all my polishes. You only need a few drops, so it's quite economical.

    I'm in for August!

I got a brand new IN this morning, a sample of Montagne Jeunesse Passion Peel Off mask. I'm looking forward to using it, but not now as I got sunburnt :( I'm always so careful..

So, my stash count is now 130. My next challenge is to reduce the number of foundations to 1. Will I manage this month? I've got dregs of 2 mineral foundations that last forever, a sample of Moisture Surge tinted moisturizer and a full Bourjois Matte Minerals. Who knows, who knows..

oooh - first UU of the month (though I didnt know I had it so maybe it doesnt count!) a sachet of neutrogena daily moisturiser. No idea where it came from, i found it under the sofa just a minute ago and put it on.... WIB? no - dont like how its made me feel. Good coverage though, the little bit in the sachet has covered my face, my arms, my hands, my boobs and my tummy..... (which is no mean feat, the size of my tummy!!!)

must remember to look at my NVs and have a go at marbelling tonight, though i need to make my nails look better before I do it properly! Must start looking after them better too - Im totally in love with this nail stuff that looks like metallic (saw it advertised in a beauty place on my way home, and think people ahve talked about it on here too?) but need much better shaped nails first!!

Im away for a few days this week (got the week off work and off to Devon Wednesday) hopefully will have a few UU while im gone... mostly gin and wine I should think though, so i doubt they will count ;)

Welcome newbies, and welcome back to oldies !!!

forgot to say got a sample Clinique moisture surge foundation from Boots a few weeks ago.It is supposed to eb a 10 day supply and is in a cute pot about the diameter of a 10p and half as deep. The SA did not have my shade but gave me the next darkest as I said it was to take on holiday.Big success,if you see one advertised(mine was in a Boots mailing) go for it as not only did it last the 9 days of my hols there is about 3/4 of it left so think will last the summer and can refil for other hols:j:j:j:jplus I like the foundation, only prob is I bought a different one before the moisture one came out and now have 3 on the go plus the sample size:rotfl:
