Wardrobes to fit in attic slanted-wall bedrooms

Having just had an offer accepted on a new house (not exchanged yet), I am trying to think of things that could be problematic, and this is one:

The two bedrooms on the top floor will both need to house adults, but have two slanted walls and two vertical walls (typical attic style I guess). If I put a double bed along one vertical wall, and a TV opposite (which they will want), then I can't see how I can get a wardrobe in. Bedrooms aren't that big either, 12'6 x 8'6, and 14' x 10' (reducing to 7'6).

Has anyone had (and resolved) this before? Any clever ideas? Any good websites recommended? I'm not a very creative designer type person, numbers are more my thing lol :)

    I'm in Colchester, Essex.

Property is in this link, pictures 2 and 15 are the rooms in question, sizes as above, however the estate agent hasn't sent me the floorplans yet (irritating) so that's all I've got to show.

    How big a TV?

You could have built in wardrobes across the flat walls opposite the beds and include a section in the wardrobe framework to encase a 17" or so TV and still keep a lot of space. Mount a small CCTV camera above the TV and it will double as a mirror!!

Otherwise put the wardrobes on the vertical walls, bedhead on the slopey wall, and TV against the other slopey wall, either low down on a table or mounted from the slopey wall by a swivel/pole mount.

When we sold a house like that, we just bought 2 metres of Ikea Pax wardrobes with cream slab gloss doors that wouldn't look odd if cut and had our carpenter cut the wardrobes and doors to and 'fit' them as properly fitted wardrobes.

Much cheaper than having them made to measure by one of the specialist companies but because he's so fabulous, they looked as if they were. We just selected the fittings for inside that suited the space. We had a 50cm directly against the slant and used that to hang dresses, under a triangular shelf for randoms, although yours looks lower so it might suit trousers and/or shirts.

It looked sort of like this but I have no idea why you need "unique double angled doors" like they're trying to sell here. You don't need sliders or fancy hinges, just need to use 50cm wardrobes in the slant so that every time you hang a door, you can choose which side of the wardrobe to hang it on to ensure it opens. If you use double wardrobes, you can't do it.

Wish I had a picture of ours, it would have made perfect sense then!

I'd go with them all the vertical wall opposite the bed. We've done this in our room and have shelving and 1 section double hanging and 1 full hanging. The shelving is split in two with 3 shelves one side and 2 on the other to make them bigger. The shelving bit is only half height as it's on top of the stair bulkhead. Anyway we have a 27" tv in the bigger of the shelves so it's all hidden away. I lve th fact there's no clutter and no wires anywhere as all in the wardrobe.
