Hi,

I just finished speaking to them it was a typo and don't get the (IS) top-up so I can't apply for a community care grant or budget loan as I get (IB) and not (ESA) but my support worker tells me I can as (IB) is (ESA) is this true?

Incap is contrabution based and is equel to contribution based esa. esa income based is equel to income support if you are on ib now tthen when you are transfered to esa if you pass medical etc you will be on contrabution based esa
