recently restructured Redundant

Hi All
To anyone wondering what to do I was made redundant lately and have signed on at the JC+.What a farce.
This was due to the new buzz word restructuring,I have had an interveiw at the JC+ and the guy was trying to get me to go for shifts and weekend work.bearing in mind I have worked 24/7 in the past and been working for the last 42 years, the guy tried to get me to go for work beetween 5am up to 10pm.
I asked if I could do the same hours as he is on, no reply.
Morale of this is do not be bullied when attending the job centre.
with the last company for 16 years.So I have got payment and holiday pay to come.
Look at the websites i.e. and do a CV leave your cv with the websites and apply for anything you think will fit into as they wanrt proof you are looking for work.
Above all dont get down make it part of your daily chores and enjoy the search for work,watch the hard workers at the JC I think not,they dont know how to keep to an apointment time.
They wouldnt last two minutes in a proper working enviroment.
Remember if you werent there they would not have a job.

Read it 42 years continuos work with the exception of holidays,including working Xmas day and new year day.
Dont be so pompous.
I would like to think that Icould be allowed to carry on working without having to go back to unsociable hours.
I am willing to work weekends if need be,but to be honest I do feel i have done my bit,also paid in plenty of nat insurance and tax.
Not restricting my hours asking a question which got no reply.
For your information looking at going self employed.
Belittleing people who are working,attending a place of work and working are two seperate issues.

Also in answer if people did not have to eat, there would not be a food industry.
I am a previous user and have reregistered due to loseing password,and have been a long time reader,but not been able to be online as often as some people who do not seem to have a full time occupation.(Or using the web whilst supposed to be working?)
Personal observation whilst sitting waiting to be seen and appointment time not adhered to.
