How to get hair off of carpet?

Hey everyone.
My hair tends to get everywhere! Our carpet is full of it and the hoover we have just doesn't suck it up.
I have M.E which means that my mobility isn't great and I'm pretty much exhausted all the time.
My DH and I live with his parents so all the household stuff is theirs i.e. the hoover.
Does anyone have any tips on how to get human hair off of the carpet? It's unsightly but I also need something that is "disability" friendly, if that makes sense?
Someone mentioned lint rollers? But that sounds quite intensive to go over the whole carpet?
I'm really sorry if this is the wrong place.:o

Dyson, or similar powerful 'cyclone' hoover?
Anything that the makers say will be good for cat and dog hair would be ideal.
Of course, the shorter your hair is cut, the more the problem goes away....0 -
I use a rubber hand brush to pick up my hair (long) before putting the hoover over, although I believe it’s meant for pet hairs. It is probably not very disabled friendly, but I have seen the JML Wonderbroom in the shops which seems similar enough, but has a long handle!0

I use the jml style rubber broom for dog air although I have got a pair of rubber soled shoes which works just as well and means it's good exercise for my legs ad bonus!0

as google states anything for cat and dog hair would be ideal or if try the parcel tape method although it may end up damaging your carpets if its not hard wearing.0

I would agree with the rubber soled shoes, i bought new slippers with rubber soles and i was amazed at how quickly and easily the hair comes off the carpet!0
