Hi all, I sent my 1st letter to Lloyds tsb but i put in the wrong total amount.
I have 2 accounts i'm claiming fees back from. The letter for one account is ok but on the letter for the other account i put the total for both accounts added together instead of the total for just the account concerned.
I've put £2480 instead of £1565, a difference of £915.
My question is, should i wait and see how they respond or, send it all again with the correct amount ??

As you've over-stated the amount they owe you, I'm sure they will correct you before paying!!
If they won't pay back or don't answer, just make sure you send in a detailed LBA with a correct list charges you wish to claim back before using MCOL.0 -

LBA.........Letter Before Action. This is the second letter you send requesting your charges are repaid. In this letter, you are saying that if you don't receive a satisfactory reply, you will commence a court claim without further notice.
MCOL.........Money Claim Online. This is the online site for making a claim through the county court. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
