95% mortgage from Skipton

More good news for FTBs on mortgage availability:

The rate isn't hugely attractive, but it is encouraging to see a strong building society like Skipton offering a helping hand to FTBs.

Well done Skipton

Would that be the same Skipton that went against a rate rise promise for mortgagees by invoking a 'special circumstances' clause when the BoE base rate went rock bottom.

I wouldn't trust them with my money that's for sure.

The Skipton Building Society which due to "exceptional circumstances" hiked its SVR by 1.45% last year by removing its commitment to a 3% over base cap on its SVR?

It will be a long time before I again trust Skipton with any of my clients.

Damn - shortchanged beat me to it!
