Have been trying to get through to renew for days they are constantly busy:mad: does nanyone have the number Martin posted last year as a aliternative cos they were so busy then too

You just have to keep trying. There is no alternative number. They are really busy due to everyone leaving their renewal until the last minute. Just keep trying, if you miss the deadline still keep trying after the deadline, they will still help you.

I'm still trying too, had no option but to leave it until now due DH not getting p60 finally got a letter from his old job confirming payment details on Sat! Got stonking migraine, can't sleep and think I'm going to miss deadline and end up owing lots of money. Also just noticed no mention of DH leaving his job last june which I'm sure we told them about. Feel quite sick, had a cr*p year and now this.
So if I can't get through today and I try tomorrow do you think they will still allow it?

Have tried phoning for advice over last couple of weeks and I get as far as we ill put you through then a message comes on to say try again

I hate the way they keep you hanging on and then tell you after a few minutes they are busy!!!:mad:

If only someone could invent something to counteract this, oh! They have, it's called an engaged tone!!!:mad: Argh! But then they won't earn the extra 0845 pennies!:(

Just got through using this no:
01355359007, you have to use 141 in front of it and dial from a mobile. I tried with the landline but it said it was for overseas only!
They tell you it's overseas but they will do it, this time only!!! On phone for a total of 14mins 13 secs, result!!!

i just tried this number i got through within 5 minutes great stuff

best time to phone is 7:55am onwards as ive now got through twice at this time within 3 minutes.
