Oh well it's 30th July and just checked my online Scottish Power Account.

Still no sign of the £105 Online Energy Reward that was due to be paid after 7th June and by 1st August. Anyone else see theirs yet?

Submit a meter reading online, that made it appear on my bill and on someone else's as well.

I just tried to do that and got this message

"Unfortunately we are unable to process your reading(s) automatically right now. Please enter your reading(s) below and click 'SEND'. One of our customer services representatives will email you once they have been processed"

Says I should get my bill in 2 working days! Maybe everyone is putting their readings in and this has caused the problems.

I am just getting around to doing comparisons and am confused as to what I put down as my tariff as not all the comparison sites have "Online Energy Saver 14" in their list or do I put standard tariff as if I dont opt to change to the Online Saver 14 that is what I will be on.

I have done quite a few comparisons and most of them are saying my energy will be more expensive to move to another supplier.

Has anyone done any comparisons and what tariff have they used to compare? Have they found anyone else is any cheaper?

Perhaps as today is the last day of the reward tariff the computer is already getting ready to switch us over to the standard tariff and estimating the readings.

I submitted my readings yesterday and they went in OK, and it generated a bill although I cannot see it yet, only the balance has been adjusted, complete with the £105.

As for what tariff, if you put in Standard then as well as showing the cheapest of the competitors it should also show the cheapest SP tariff for you to compare. But don't forget the ones who have not yet announced price rises will be the cheapest.

I am strongly tempted to go either for SP fix til 2015 or EDF fix til 2014, both costing a few £ more than SP standard but with long fixes.
