Very carefully in a place that won't show check to see if rubbing alcohol does any damage before trying on the stain, also you could try toothpaste and a toothbrush, failing that it's the dry cleaners. Oh you could also try hairspray, that shifts stains too.My Mind wanders, if found please return.0

Before you go for the dry cleaner option, try De-Solv-It. Someone on here recommended it when I spilt chilli paste all over the carpet of my rented house before I moved out - I'd tried loads of other stuff, but De-Solv-It shifted it in seconds, as it did again when DH trod in tar all over the new carpet of our new rented flat. It's not expensive, and we got it from Mr T.0
