how do u do the crossing out in your sig - i cant seem to figure it out - i want to cross out one debt and write what it is now next to it ...
type what you want to cross out, then highlight it, then click on the strike.gif button above the text window where you set colours etc (bottom row, on the right)

alternatively, type an open square bracket ([) then STRIKE then a close square bracket (]) before the text, then the same after it but as /STRIKE (note the leading / at this end)

    another spend day for me.

Council Tax went out of the bank this morning, so I went and got some cold meat for sandwiches, some bread rolls, and a few other bits including whoopsied chicken fillets to make enchilladas and whoopsied sausages for making casserole

    whoopsied toffee cake anyone?

made a biiiig mistake this evening. been trying to push myself out of the door for a run all day and not found the 'umph' - so I decided to join the running club in an 'efforts' session this evening. but I've not eaten properly since (ummmmmmmm) possibly Friday, and my heart rate went sky high which set me dizzy and was causing one eye to go blurry (at last eye test in December the optician said this is normal due to the imbalance in my eyes, so not something to worry about) which meant I didn't manage the whole session :( still, at least I got out and did some running :)

had a phone call from the Dalmatian rescue/rehoming people this morning. They've found someone (a single chap) who's interested in taking on my dog - just a few things to be hammered out between me and him in the next couple of days though (via them). I was told their chap who came and assessed the dog a couple of weeks would pick up my dog and take him to meet the potential new owner (who she said was willing to come over to the M/cr area, so clearly not local) which rang alarm bells with me....... appears it's not common practise for the current owner(s) to meet the new owner(s), which I'm not happy about and said so. Said I'm not bothered about knowing where he lives or having contact details for him, but I *do* want to see him with the dog - so she's going to speak to him and see if he'll agree to it. However it appears I hold a bit of a trump card, as he doesn't want to take a dog 'sight unseen' or based on a short introduction on neutral territory - which I can totally understand. Before she even asked me I said I'd be happy to loan the dog out for a long weekend if the chap wanted, as that way they could spend time together and see if temperaments match - and apparently he'd asked her to ask me if that might be possible :) So with me agreeing to the non-standard thing he wants I'm hopeful he'll agree to my non-standard request for a meet. If he doesn't then it looks like I'm stuck with the dog for a bit longer yet, as I'm not prepared to just hand him over to someone I've never met via a third party much as I could do with losing the expense, and much as I'm aware I don't give him the time he deserves/needs :o

anyway, better go and iron my uniforms as I'm back at work tomorrow after a long weekend off - and I don't feel like I've done much with it

NSD 12 so 6 more then I will have beaten a previous 17. I think it is possible as at the moment I am not interested in purchasing anything. In the past, spending to try and "fix" ill health was just short term (if that) so now there's got to be a better way.

By the way solventsoon thanks for your few comments.

Nargle i hope you are ok, & it sounds like you have done exactly the right thing, just letting your daughter know that you are there when she needs you, make sure you look after yourself too & please do try to enjoy your leave as much as you can.

Hope you have a lovely time, BDINI, it will do you good to get away and spend some time with friends xx

Thanks Spoon, i had a lovely time, & as they were skint too we even managed to do it cheaply, i came home with more of the money i had put aside for the trip in my purse, than what i spent :j

Not one today unfortunately, but for a good reason, the window cleaner (bless him), had agreed to help me take down my dead ivy from the side of the house as i don't have a tall enough ladder. Well i came home from work today & he has done it all, it looks fab & he even burnt it all so no struggling to get rid of the rubbish..... & the best bit, he only charged me £30 :j

Decided as i had already spent to grab a few groceries, very chuffed i have a fridge stuffed full of f&v, & all the oddments i need for the next 2 weeks meal plan & i only spent just over £25 :T
Only thing i didn't get was tomato puree as Mr M was totally sold out, so have put the money to one side to grab that later in the week, as it's really not my fault!!
