A spend day for me. Milk was the "downfall" in more ways than one as I went flying down the shop ramp. It was a bit like slipping on ice and the shop said to report it to Head Office as they never get taken any notice of when they have mentioned it! This and other things made me think about buying things online again but there isn't anything anyway and I am even less interested in shopping outdoors. :p to the shops.

Well not a NSD for me, had to get my eyebrows tamed before they took on a life of their own, plus bought some shampoo and conditioner (as i'm on the last of my 'hotel supplied' conditioner :rotfl:) but they were both from the £1 shop - big bottles too (and not some rubbish make that will make my hair fall out)

Made sausage, butterbea and tomato hotpot tonight - one of those from Mr S recipie card. Frankly though, i'm a bit disappointed in it. It said to use 1 x bag of 500g dried country vegetable mix (which I thought was a lot) so I put about 400g in and even that was too much, just sucked up all the liquid so I had to keep adding more. I've had a bowl for dinner, there's 4 portions for the freezer and after adding some more stock (and ended up using 2 x tins of toms rather than 1) I still seem to have almost a full pot left - which would be ok, but it's now hardly got any sausages to go round each portion :( I guess I can freeze some and gradually use it up but I didn't really want to take up so much room with one thing in the freezer...it's like the turkey casserole all over again. booger.

Oh, changing the subject though - I do beleive we have cause for an outing tomorrow, it's International Left-Handers day tomorrow - so I suggest everyone has to do everything left handed on our outing (yes, I might have a slight advantage on that one to some of you :p)

Today ended up being a spend day. They put a buffet on for lunch at the meeting but it was full of sausage rolls and the like. Rather than sacrifice my diet I sacrifices £2 by going out and buying a sandwich. Since I'd already spent I decided to go to the pub with colleagues after the meeting. I only had diet coke though so it wasn't too hard on my bank balance or my diet.
Got another spend day tomorrow, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Hoping to get another couple NSDs in at the end of next week.

I'm left-handed too, but didn't know we had a day when we were allowed to feel normal:rotfl:

Beanie - a waiting game indeed. Hope this weekend brings good news.

Kerri - Igor must have been looking over my shoulder because he is now, even as we "speak", practising left-handed cocktail mixing. So if your maraschino cherry's on the sosh, or your plastic giraffe a bit droopy, you will know why. (He makes a mean cocktail, that Igor!) And I daren't think of the consequences of Spoon driving the Tardis left-handed, or Bdini attending to Hubert's unmentionables.....
