NSD 7 for me today. It's amazing how you get into the swing of this once you start. Everytime I even think of spending anything I think of this forum and it stops me. It's like you're all angels on my shoulder fighting the devil on the other shoulder!!;)
I'm really getting into this whole MSE way of life & have sorted out my T clubcard this week so I can check it online. Found I've got a £2.50 voucher from August 2009 that I've not spent which runs out at the end of this month. So, I can go shopping but still have a NSD.:D Thank God, as I'm desperate for some fresh fruit & veg and some yoghurt. I'll have to have a look for some good whoopsies.;)

rising from the ashes - *grumbles* I am so very jealous of you being in the burgh...
On a plus side I've had two NSDs so today is officially NSD 4. I had to use my oyster card to travel yesterday but have decided that this only counts as a spend on the days I top it up (how do others approach this?). Unfortunately I couldn't get around it by cycling like I usually would as I was going to a nice shop to watch my sister try on wedding dresses... not really appropriate to turn up in the state that a cycle through london seems to bring out in me. Luckily other than the transport there was nothing for me to buy...
Today I was sorely tempted by a coffee shop up near the training I was sent on this afternoon but thoughts of being able to declare another NSD kept my money in my pocket. I then tried to do my wombly bit with the clean up crew but Clapham was largely sorted by other kind souls by the time I managed to escape work. Since all the shops near me are shut up for the night I think it's pretty safe to declare today a NSD. I'll stay safe and sound indoors listening to the sirens that tell me the police are on the case.August Challenges: NSD 7/10 £5/day £0/£155

I too need a holiday to recover from my last week of holidays...spent it weeding my dad's garden...back-breaking work!
What's wrong with carrot soup??
I've still not finished my weeding! Started last week before I went away! So lazy :rotfl:
I reckon carrot soup probably is nice, I think it's just the way I've made it! Can't wait til freezer bit more empty and I can fill with lovely stuff! Want to make a few different batches of stuff again.
Anyway NSD 6 today!
Hope everyone is staying safe.

Sorry to hear that DD2 carer is leaving soon. Is there a head of the nursery who you can talk to perhaps (I'm guessing someone has bought her behaviour there to your attention?) to try and discuss it further? I'm no child expert but surely if she's receiving different consequences/messages for the same behaviour in different places she will play on this?iwanttogoonholiday wrote: »speaking of tesco clubcard vouchers - do ppl still get vouchers in the post - i used to but havent had any for a long long time!
Oddly enough I'm waiting for my Aug statement atm. Going online tomorrow to print off my £2.50 voucher as I need to get pet food and want to use the 2 x promo to double the value.
Well, I managed NSD #4 today :j DESPITE popping into Mr S. Spends were;
2 x milk bags (promo for £1) with a free Jugit
2 x bacardi cuba libra - free with coupons
1 x dettol wipes (promo for £1.02 - 50p coupon = 52p)
Total spend £1.52
did want to pick up some fairy liquid but my coupon wouldn't scan so gave up when the lynch mob looked like they were tempted to use the french baguettes as weapons
Also popped into Mr T for some bread (47p) as I'm not keen on bread at Mr S, even their basic one seems less fresh than Mr T or Mr A. Paid 39p thanks to a JTD voucher
Total day's spend £1.91 - milk doesn't count anyway and guess what...it was all paid for from the £2 coin pilfered from the change pot (read: OH pile of change from the pub the other night) - thus keeping my NSD
Planning a Mr T raid tomorrow plus need brow threading back to two eyebrows so a spend day planned, but not doing too bad given how busy last week wasFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Off to bed soon...tired as didn't sleep much last night.
Hoping for an NSD tomorrow, though have found I have nearly run out of printer paper, so will have to juggle what I was planning on doing tomorrow if I don't want to spend
