Hi all NSD 6 today. Just over half way there. Didn't manage to conquer mount ironmore yesterday will have to try again latter on in the week. DD2 is being naughty she is 2 and i am now getting reports fron nursery about her neing stroppy and having tantrums the little monster, at least they have caught up shes been doing this at home for a while now:rotfl:its too late for me to tell her off at home as she doesnt know whats shes donw.

Eeeej to DD2 - sounds like she's really hit the terrible 2's. You prob already have, but it would be worth talking to the nursery about how you deal with the tantrums etc at home as a consistent approach between home and nursery will give her a clear message about unacceptable behaviour.

Changing the subject, we were up in London on Fri, no where near the riots but all the same, quite glad we're not there now. Reminds me of the 80's - esp starting on Broadwater Farm (makes me sound old but actually I was only about 6 at the time)

i have just used my cc tonight, BUT still a NSD - my boots (the ones OH is kindly buying for my b'day arrived today and they feel quite small despite being my normal size, I am sure they will give a little as the leather is really soft, but ordered the next size up just to try...well at £120 I'll be wearing them a lot )

Just realized I have managed not to spend anything today So that's NSD no 5 in the bag. :j:j

Spending tomorrow though, already done the online Mr T order. Only count it as a spend on delivery day as the amount is variable depending on what they do/don't have and they can't take the money until I sign the handset. :D

Getting DH to get eggs and veg from the greengrocers tomorrow too, I will be stuck at home as the car is back at the garage..this time it is spewing orange water...hope it's not too pricey to fix :o!!!

Right, off to bed now...v tired today...think my weeding holiday has caught up with me at last!!

    Hi lovely gang :A
Hope you’ve all had a good Monday (or as good as Monday’s can be). Thanks again to LittleMissHappy for yesterday’s update, you’re a star xx:A

Welcome back to one of our regulars, great to see you again:

:wave:shezam - of course we don’t mind adding you again, it’s never to late to join in the fun here. All signed up for 8 now, you can do it!
Please don’t feel embarrassed if you don’t make your target or if you’re struggling. It takes a bit of practice sometimes to get into the swing of NSDs, pop back in and join in the chat, we’ll give you lots of motivation, hugs, talking-tos, advice and a kick up the bum if you need it. :D

Lots more NSDs rolling in today and our first target tumbles already, well done everyone:

:j:j:jkjp - for no 4, woop woop indeed, you’re doing brilliantly! Keep going!

:j:j:jcranbornekat - for no 3, you’re doing brilliantly, keep going!
Fingers crossed for lots of NSDs this week, you’re sounding very organised

:j:j:jlotti379 - for no 1... off the starting blocks now that’s fantastic!
Fingers crossed for no 2 today... hmmm.. I can see your problem with trying to fit a double bed and mattress into a Fiesta... you could have borrowed the Tardis if you’d mentioned it earlier:rotfl:
Oh dear, I’m sorry about your carp day, don’t beat yourself up about losing an NSD, sometimes retail therapy is needed and I think today was one of those days for you xx:A

:j:j:jtoots - for no 3, I don’t think that’s a poor start at all, you’ve had NSDs on nearly half of the days of August so far, that’s pretty good going I’d say. Fingers crossed for lots more

    :j:j:jLearning2Budget - for no 3, you’re doing great!
Oh dear, sorry to hear about the car trouble at the weekend, that’s not good. Hope it’s sorted now and it didn’t cost a fortune to fix

:j:j:jSpendSpendSpend - for nos 5 and 6 and your first target tumbles, that’s fantastic!! :j:j:jYou’re our first superhero of the month, Superman is flying your way now!
Increasing your target to 15 now, good luck, you can do it!!

:j:j:jdannie - for no 7, you’re doing brilliantly, keep going!

:j:j:jmrsdwhite - for no 2, you’re doing great for your first time on this challenge, don’t beat yourself up about it. At least you now know not to take both your purse and your 3 year old into Tatco at the same time - a lesson well-learned I think.
Some good bargains acquired today and fleabaying as well, you’re sounding very organised

:j:j:jWee Pilsbury - for no 4, you’re doing brilliantly, keep going!

:j:j:jThe Dragon - and no 4 for you as well, you’re doing brilliantly, keep going!

    :j:j:jRed - for no 5, that’s fantastic, keep going!

:j:j:jLittleMissHappy - and no 5 for you as well, that’s fantastic, keep going!
Thanks so much for yesterday’s update xx

    :j:j:jbeanie - for no 8, yay!! 8 out of 8 is fab!
Sorry to hear about DS, fingers crossed he gets something sorted soon

:j:j:jPips Mum - no 3 in the bag for you now, yay!!

    :j:j:jSillyBlondie - for no 5, that’s fantastic, keep going!

:j:j:jkerri - for no 3, you’re doing brilliantly, keep going!

:j:j:jFrodo - for no 4, you’re doing brilliantly, keep going!
I do like your name - I was hoping it was something to do with being slightly vertically challenged rather than having hairy toes!!!
Glad pud has recovered, there’s nothing to beat a sulking cat....

:j:j:jdonna dynamo - for no 6, that’s brilliant and yay!! to being over halfway, that’s fab!

sooo is NSD in a month, just days where yhou don't spend, not days in a row?

    :hello:Hi alibob
    Welcome to the NSD challenge.

Yes NSDs are just days where we don't spend anything, according to our rules.

As an added challenge some of us go for a number of NSDs in a row.

If you'd like to join us you'd be very welcome, it's never to late to join in. Set yourself a target and away you go, it's as easy as that.:D

Hope that's helped but if you need to know anything else please just ask.

    spoon xx

  • NSD 4 for me yesterday - treated to lunch out too which was nice!!

  • Hi Spoon, it won't be a NSD for me today. My name is because I'm vertically challenged (according to my son anyway) and I definetly haven't got hairy toes, I make sure of that lol!:p
