Only just over two hours left of work now, which is good! :j
A spend day for me today as there was an offer, plus free delivery, on my fave face scrub from the Body Shop, plus I could get cashback, so ordered that.Been feeling down in the dumps the last few days (probably just the PMT
) so thought I'd treat myself.
Might get us a pizza takeaway tonight too as thanks to you lovely NSD lot, I have money left in my purse from my last payday! :j If I order that online I can get cashback for that too!
Time for a Friday wiggle I think!0 -
NSD 15 for me yesterday. I can't believe I've reached my second target. I thought this would be a really difficult challenge but being on this thread has really helped me, so a massive THANK YOU to everyone on here.
Today's going to be a big spend day as I desperately need petrol. Think I managed to get to work on fumes this morning, I just hope there are enough fumes left to get me to the garage tonight. I'm also going to go & get all of my food shopping for the month tonight. I don't really need that much as I still have stuff in the freezer & cupboards but I've missed shopping so I'm going to get some bits & then batch cook loads of stuff over the weekend.
As it's pay day I've taken loads of cash out for various things that I know I'm going to spend on this month (tennis lesson etc) which should mean I can get a lot more NSDs in September. I'm really looking forward to next month's challenge now & may have to rethink how I class NSDs by including direct debits as spends.
Anyway, enough rambling from me, I'll leave you all in peace to enjoy the rest of Friday.
Ooh, nearly forgot I'd better increase my target again for Aug. It's a bank holiday weekend so I'll probably spend but I'll go for 18 now.Aug NSDs: 18/[STRIKE]6 [/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15[/STRIKE] 18

I've managed #14 and #15 on Wednesday and Thursday,so pretty chuffed.I did some shopping today and forgot to buy face cream,so will have to my 'night' face cream as tomorrow has to be an NSD.Don't suppose it matters though, just seems funny.I don't know if having 'day' and 'night' face cream is just another swizz?
The heatwave here in Switzerland ends today, thank goodness,as we are heading for a violent thundrestorm this evening. The Met. office have issued warnings...
Tomorrow the maximum temperatures will be 18c apparently,so a drop of 10c compared to today.:DWe've had temperatures in the 30's for the last week to ten days.It has reached 38c in the Valais...
Hope you all a great Friday evening.0 -
NSD no 17 please Spoon. Only 1 more to go before I reach my 2nd target.NSD Challenge January 2/15
PAD Member since 18/7/11 - Total paid to date £8885.190 -
Thanks for updating my target although it only took a few hours today for it to be impossible.
Whilst out, I realised I didn't have much to carry afterall so did some shopping for a friend. I knew to avoid certain aisles that may lead me to spend but just "had" to glance on the reductions table (never usually anything). Not the case today. I swooped up the reductions "saving" £10.61 on items I usually purchase. Due to this, got some milk, also "saving" £2.20.
Anyway, I'd like to carry on with this challenge to the end of the month and get more NSD if that's okay and maybe get close to the "record" of 25?0 -
Evening all! Well TFI Friday! Been one hell of a week for varying reasons - two steps forward and one back and all that.
No NSD for me yesterday, colin the caterpillar was tamed back into two eyebrows plus I needed some petrol so did a cheeky stop in Mr M as I was going past (only day of the week I do) BUT before you throw the kippers Spoony...
2 x Aunty B gravy granules on offer 2 for £1 - 2 x 50p vouchers = 0p :j

1 x bottle of HP for OH £2.88 ...not on offer and no coupons.... but total shop £3.48
However, today is officially NSD #12 to TARGET MET :j tomorrow will be a food shop but this will come out of the grocery budget so I might even exceed my target with time to spare. :A

Really sorry about your horrible day at work, I’m not surprised you were shaken up by that, pleased you weren’t injured though, that’s something to be thankful for.
Absolutely.... especially when i saw the other staff members swollen face
Well done you for helping out the chap from the pub, that’s really public-spirited of you and not something a lot of people would do, and you definitely deserve a pint for that, especially after the work trauma as well (((hugs))) xx :A
You know what, it never feels like that, i just love the fact that i've ended up in a community where everyone looks out for each other & swops skills!
How’s your gran doing now?
Aww thanks for asking about my gran Spoon, she's doing ok, the op seems to have worked & the pacemaker has settled down, but unfortunately she now has an infection in one of her op sites. She's on antibiotics now, so fingers crossed it clears up soon, poor thing, she has been through so much!!What a nightmare of a month but having spent most of it at hospital with sick relatives I am sitting at 11 . My wee dog is very ill so not sure how many more I will get this month with vet bill.
((((((((((((big hugs))))))))))) AlyBaly, sounds like you've had a really rough month, hopefully September will bring you good things!February NSD challenge 5/150
