handbag falling apart- can i return it?

i bought a leather handbag from debenhams near the end of march this year and the material around the edges is starting to come apart. the bag's been handled with care and hasn't been dropped. is there a possibility i could refund it.

    Debenhams are pretty good, take it back with your receipt and see what they say.
