This lot stick like mud! Only with them because when I tried to cancel they said I owed them for the introductory offer (some 8 years ago). So i just return discs back and cancel recommended recordings. However, on their website I can find NO place to cancel recommended recordings. Have been through whole site! Tried to ring the automated enquiry line and was told the offices are closed for the bank holiday and reopen on Tuesday, 18 April!!! What an outfit!

Are they still going? I was a member years ago, but I never see any adverts for them anymore! Thought they'd gone bump!

16. Cancelling your Membership

16.1 We may cancel your Membership at any time by sending 7 days' written notice to the last address we have for you.

16.2 You can cancel your Membership by writing to our Member Services Department at the address in Condition 22.

16.3 If you cancel your Membership before fulfilling the Purchase Commitment you'll be liable to a Compensation Fee, described in Condition 5.

I got this from their website. Hope it helps. I was a member of this place years ago and I can't remember how I stopped it! If you're sending a letter i'd recommend sending it recorded delivery. Good luck.

I used to be with britannia years ago but got out becasue of their appaling service and now, with the likes of fopp and musiczone, you can buy cheaper on the high street as well as online. avoid like the plague!
